Outdoor Ed business
100 casual guides, each contacted with tailored preferences and availability
The problem
We connected a pool of about 100 outdoor guides with clients who needed them. Every guide had their own preferences: channel, frequency, and role type. Doing this by hand did not scale.
What we built
Guides signed up through a form to create a profile. Clients submitted requests through another form.
Matches went out automatically by email or SMS, at each guide's chosen frequency (instant, weekly or monthly) and filtered by the roles they wanted.
The result
- ·About 100 guides managed with no manual sorting
- ·Every guide heard about work the way they wanted
- ·Later moved the forms to an open-source tool, saving ~$600 a year
